Designer Clownfish are selectively bred color morphs of standard clownfish—most commonly the Ocellaris (Amphiprion ocellaris) and Percula (Amphiprion percula) species. Over the last two decades, specialized aquaculture facilities have isolated rare genetic mutations to create fish with dramatic, non-traditional stripe patterns, unique color blocks, and rare pigments ranging from solid white to jet black and deep metallic blue.
