Palythoa Grandis Zoa

Commonly known as the Grandis Palythoa or giant button polyp, is one of the largest species of zoanthid soft corals in the Indo-Pacific. Prized in marine aquariums for their large size—with individual polyps reaching up to 2–3 inches in diameter—they are hardy, fast-growing, and well-suited for beginners. However, their flesh contains a potent neurotoxin called palytoxin, requiring extreme caution during handling.
